Why Partnerships Are Central to Our Work
No single organization can address the interconnected challenges facing communities alone. WOG's partnership approach recognizes that sustainable progress requires collaboration that brings together local knowledge, community relationships, education, institutional capacity, technical expertise, and shared resources.
WOG seeks relationships built on mutual respect, clearly defined roles, community participation, accountability, and a shared commitment to sustainable outcomes.
Partnerships may support different aspects of WOG's work, including community engagement, program development, education and training, implementation, capacity building, research and learning, resource development, and long-term sustainability.

Ethiopian Community & Implementation Partner
CHANGE MAKERS ON THE LIFE OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN
Ethiopian Community & Implementation PartnerEthiopiaCHANGE MAKERS ON THE LIFE OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN is an Ethiopian community organization working with WOG in support of community-centered program development and implementation.
The relationship helps connect WOG's developing initiatives with local knowledge, community relationships, priorities, and implementation capacity in Ethiopia.
Partnership Focus
Areas of collaboration may include community engagement, locally informed program development, education and youth initiatives, health and wellness education, behavioral health education, agriculture and food security, environmental resilience, capacity building, and other community-development activities undertaken through mutually agreed initiatives.
The partnership reflects WOG's commitment to developing programs alongside Ethiopian organizations and communities rather than designing interventions without local participation.

Children Cross Connection (CCC)
Collaboration & MOU PartnerChildren Cross Connection (CCC) has a documented collaborative relationship with Watering Oasis Global through a Memorandum of Understanding.
The relationship provides a framework through which the organizations can explore and develop mutually agreed activities consistent with their respective missions and organizational capabilities.
Partnership Focus
Collaboration may include community-development initiatives, education, capacity building, resource development, community engagement, and other mutually agreed areas consistent with the organizations' MOU.
Specific projects, funding arrangements, and outcomes will be identified as individual collaborative initiatives are developed and implemented.
Educational & Institutional MOU Partner
Sawla Poly Technic College (Ethiopia)
Educational & Institutional MOU PartnerEthiopiaSawla Poly Technic College is an Ethiopian educational and institutional partner with which Watering Oasis Global has established a collaborative relationship through a Memorandum of Understanding.
The relationship supports WOG's emphasis on education, practical skills, institutional capacity, workforce preparation, and sustainable community development.
Partnership Focus
Potential areas of collaboration include education and training, technical and vocational development, capacity building, knowledge exchange, youth opportunity, workforce preparation, community-development initiatives, and other activities mutually agreed upon by WOG and Sawla Poly Technic College.
This institutional relationship provides an important educational foundation for developing initiatives that connect community development with practical knowledge and skills.

Organizations are identified publicly as WOG partners when an appropriate relationship has been established. Prospective relationships, funding applications, and organizations with which WOG has had preliminary discussions should not be represented as established partnerships.

WOG welcomes relationships with community-based and nonprofit organizations that bring local knowledge, trusted community relationships, implementation capacity, and complementary expertise.
Educational & Institutional Partners
WOG seeks collaboration with colleges, universities, schools, vocational institutions, research organizations, and other educational partners that can strengthen education, training, research, workforce development, and institutional capacity.
Technical & Professional Partners
Organizations and professionals with expertise relevant to WOG's areas of work may contribute knowledge, training, program development, technology, evaluation, and specialized technical support.
Foundations & Funding Organizations
WOG seeks grant and philanthropic support for qualified initiatives. Funding organizations will be identified as WOG funders or funding partners only when financial support has actually been awarded or an appropriate formal relationship has been established.
Businesses & Corporate Partners
Businesses and corporations may support WOG's mission through appropriate financial support, expertise, technology, materials, employee engagement, or other forms of collaboration consistent with WOG's mission and community priorities.

WOG seeks partnerships that strengthen communities rather than create dependency. Successful relationships should support community participation, sustainability, transparency, accountability, and respect for local leadership and knowledge.
WOG particularly values partnerships that contribute to one or more of its eight areas of work: education and youth development; health and wellness; behavioral health education; agriculture and food security; water and community sustainability; climate and environmental resilience; economic and community development; and capacity building.
